Raise by AmountAdds an amount to the current price
Lower by AmountTakes an amount off the current price
Set toSets the price to the amount you enter

Before you confirm, the window lists each item with its price now and its new price. It also counts the variants that change with it.

Before you start

  • Any member can change prices, as they can on one item.
  • An amount is in your organisation’s currency, and Set to writes it in that currency.
  • A percentage can have up to four decimal places.
  • A price can come down by at most 100%.
  • In a currency with no cents, the three cent roundings round to the whole unit.
  • The window lists the first 200 items and counts the rest.

You can have three jobs in progress at once, counting bulk actions and exports together. Quotes, sales orders and purchase orders says how the limit works.

How to use it

  1. On the Items list, tick the items to change.
  2. Select Change Price in the bar.
  3. Select one of the three Price buttons, choose how to Change it, then enter the Value.
  4. Choose Round to, and tick or clear Apply to Variants.
  5. Check the old and new prices, which show once you enter the Value.
  6. Select the button that counts the items to apply them, such as Raise Prices on 12 Items.

Troubleshooting

Lucrii skips each item with “A price can come down by at most 100%.” Lower the price by 100% or less.

An item is skipped with “This item’s price would not change.” The rule leaves its price where it is.

An item is skipped with a currency reason, such as “Prices must be in AUD, the organisation’s currency. Change the organisation currency first if you need to price in USD.” Raising or lowering a price held in another currency skips that item. The reason is the one the item’s page gives.

A new price is a cent away from what you worked out. Check Round to. Lucrii rounds each new price once, to the step you chose.

An item reads “The new price would be below zero.” The change takes more off than the price, or a variant’s price, holds. Lower it by less, or set the price instead.

A price change reports “This price change may have been applied before the job stopped. Check the item’s prices before changing them again.” The job stopped partway through that item. Lucrii never changes it a second time by itself. Check the item’s prices before you run the change again.
