The Hermes inbox summary
Last updated: October 24, 2026
Who can do this: anyone in the organisation, on the Early Access plan.
What it does
Read the summary to see where the business stands before you work through the inbox.
- Hermes writes a few lines above the inbox. The summary leads with overdue orders, quotes about to expire, late purchase orders and mentions that have been waiting.
- Numbers that matter are in bold.
- Its greeting follows the time of day on your organisation’s clock, from Good morning through to Working late.
- Each summary appears as Hermes types it.
- Lucrii stores the summary for the current part of the day and shows it on every visit.
- When your orders or notifications change, Lucrii writes a fresh one on your next visit or refresh, at most once a minute.
Before you start
- The summary needs Hermes turned on for your organisation. On Lucrii’s own cloud, your plan must also include Hermes. The free plan does not.
- A self-hosted organisation has no plan requirement and needs only the organisation setting.
- Writing a summary costs Hermes credits.
How to use it
- Read the summary above the list.
- Select Refresh summary to fetch the latest summary.
- Select Dismiss summary to hide it.
- Select Show Hermes summary to bring it back. The button is where the bubble was.
Lucrii remembers that you dismissed it per organisation, in the browser where you did it.
Troubleshooting
The summary is back after you dismissed it. A fresh summary brings the bubble back even after you dismissed the last one.
The summary stops partway, with a closing line asking you to refresh. The connection dropped while Hermes was writing. Refresh for the rest.
Hermes says it cannot write a summary. The bubble clears after a few seconds.
