Managing an installed app
Who can do this: administrators and owners.
What it does
Use an app’s installation page to set it up, keep it working and remove it when you don’t need it. Once an app is installed, the Install button on its listing becomes a Manage menu. The menu has Open Application and Uninstall, and an Update to entry when a newer version is on offer. Open Application opens the installation page.
| Part of the page | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Heading | The app’s status, the version you are running, when it was installed and who publishes it |
| More Actions | View in App Store, View Audit History and Uninstall |
| Connector Settings | The app’s own settings, which differ from one app to the next. The card shows only for an app that has a settings page. An app without one is set up entirely outside Lucrii |
| Changelog | What changed in each version |
| Danger Zone | Uninstall Integration |
A card appears above them when the app needs you.
| Card | What it means |
|---|---|
| Reconnect Required | The connection to the outside service is short of a permission the app needs, or the connection itself is gone. The card says which, and lists the missing permissions where that is the cause |
| Connection Issue | Lucrii paused or switched off the app after repeated failures. It offers Resume Delivery or Turn Back On |
Lucrii can ask you to confirm it’s you once 10 minutes have passed since you logged in or last confirmed. It asks before an update that needs permissions you have not granted. It also asks before you connect an account to the app, from its settings or with Reconnect. An update with no new permissions, disconnecting an account and uninstalling never ask. Two-factor authentication and passkeys describes the Confirm It’s You window.
Before you start
- Every control on this page is for administrators and owners. A lesser role sees only the heading and the changelog, and cannot connect, reconnect or disconnect the app.
- Uninstalling removes the app and everything it kept, and the app stops syncing. You cannot undo it.
How to use it
- Open the app from the App Store and select Manage, or open it from the installed view.
- Select Open Application.
- Set the app up in the Connector Settings card.
- Select the update button in the heading when it offers a newer version. Where that version needs permissions you have not granted, the consent screen opens first.
- To remove the app, select Uninstall Integration in the Danger Zone and confirm.
Troubleshooting
A Reconnect Required card says the connection has expired or been disconnected, without naming a permission. The access this app had ran out, or the other service took it away. A Lucrii setting cannot restore it. Select the Reconnect button on the card to sign in again.
