The inbox

Last updated: October 24, 2026

What it does

Use the inbox to see which orders and tasks need you, and what changed on them since you last looked.

  • An order or task appears in your inbox when you are its assignee or watch it. It also appears when it has nobody assigned and belongs to one of your teams.
  • Anything with an unread update appears regardless.
  • A blue dot at the left of a row means something on that order or task has changed since you last opened it. The dot’s tooltip counts the updates.
  • Inbox in the sidebar shows how many orders and tasks in My Inbox have an unread update, the rows the Unread view shows. It reads 99+ above 99, and doesn’t show at zero.
  • A Due Date or a Payment Due that has arrived or passed turns red, with a warning icon.

The list has these columns.

ColumnWhat it shows
IDThe order or task number, with its status badge
TitleThe task’s title, filled for tasks
PriorityThe task’s priority, filled for tasks
ContactThe customer or vendor, filled for orders
Due DateThe order’s expected date or the task’s due date
Payment DueThe date payment falls due, filled for orders
AssigneeThe team and person it is assigned to

Mark as Read clears the dots from rows you have dealt with, without opening each one.

  • Tick the box at the start of a row to select it. Ticked rows bring up a bar at the top of the list, as Work boards and tasks describes.
  • Mark as Read on the bar marks each ticked row as read, as opening it does. It changes nothing on the orders and tasks themselves.
  • Mark as Read runs as soon as you select it. Lucrii then says how many it marked, as in “2 orders and tasks marked as read”.
  • Switching between My Inbox and My Teams’ Inbox clears what is ticked.

How to use it

  1. Select a column heading to sort by it.
  2. Type in the search box above the list to narrow the list.
  3. Select a row to open the order or task behind it. Lucrii marks it as read. The dot goes with it.
  4. Tick the rows you have dealt with, then select Mark as Read. The dots go from those rows.
  5. To mark every row the list matches, tick the box at the top of the list. Where more rows match than the list shows, select the link that offers them all, as in Select All 48 Orders and Tasks. Then select Mark as Read.

Lucrii keeps the tab, the filters, the search and the sort in the address of the page.

Troubleshooting

A closed order or a finished task is still in your inbox. A won or lost quote leaves the list, as does a closed or cancelled sales order or purchase order, or a completed task. The exception is one with an unread update left on it.

Mark as Read counted more rows than were unread. For ticked rows, the number counts every row you ticked, read or not. For every matching row, it counts only the rows that were still unread.

The message ends “Some are still unread. Run Mark as Read again”. Mark as Read on every matching row stops after 5,000 rows. Run it again for the rest.

A teammate’s unread updates went when you read an order. On an order with nobody assigned that belongs to your team, opening it or Mark as Read also clears your teammates’ unread note updates. A teammate who watches the order keeps theirs.

A date is red before it is due where you are. Lucrii judges this by your organisation’s calendar and ignores yours. The date then reads the same for everyone and on the document sent about it.
