Installing an app

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Who can do this: administrators and owners.

What it does

Read an app’s listing to decide whether it fits your business, then install it. A listing has five sections. Overview shows screenshots and a description, and Pricing, Changelog, Reviews and Resources follow it.

  • Beside the app name are the star rating and the number of active installs.
  • A tick against the developer means Lucrii publishes the app itself.
  • Resources lists the app’s privacy policy, terms, developer, support address and documentation. A row the developer left blank says no document provided. So does a link that is not a web address or an email address.

Install opens a consent screen.

  • It lists the permissions the app needs, split into what it can read and what it can change.
  • It links to the developer’s terms and privacy policy.
  • Lucrii installs the app only once you confirm on that screen.
  • Installing can ask you to confirm it’s you, once 10 minutes have passed since you logged in or last confirmed. The window reads “Confirm it’s you to install this app.” Two-factor authentication and passkeys describes the Confirm It’s You window.

Before you start

Administrators and owners see the Install button. Everyone else reads the listing without it. Demo organisations never show it.

How to use it

  1. Open an app from the App Store.
  2. Read down the page, or use the links on the right to jump to Overview, Pricing, Changelog, Reviews or Resources.
  3. Select a screenshot to open it full size. The left and right arrow keys step through the others.
  4. Select Install.
  5. Read the permissions and select Install again to confirm. Confirm it’s you if Lucrii asks.

Troubleshooting

The Install or Manage button is missing, and the page says it could not load whether your organisation has this app installed. Lucrii cannot check your installed apps, which is what tells it whether the app is already installed. Try again shortly.
