## What it does

Use New organisation to set up another business, billed through your parent organisation. It opens the wizard that set up your first one, and Hermes asks the questions.

- The business name, how many people work there, the industry and a description.
- The country, the currency and the timezone. Lucrii guesses the country and timezone from your browser and offers them as starting answers.
- The currency starts there too, then follows the country you choose until you pick a currency yourself.
- Whether the business sells goods, services or both.
- Whether you collect tax. Saying you collect tax adds two questions, for the tax name and its percentage.
- The name of your first team. Lucrii suggests Sales Team.

Create Organisation submits the lot. Every answer is a setting you can change afterwards on General, and the tax you name becomes an ordinary row on the taxes list.

## Before you start

- Only an owner of the parent organisation can create one. The switcher offers New organisation only to an owner, and Lucrii checks again when you submit.
- Creating an organisation needs owner, because its creator becomes its owner. Its billing goes to the parent organisation's subscription, which an administrator's role does not reach.
- The rest of organisation management needs only administrator.
- The new organisation is a child of the parent organisation, even when you start from another child or a demo. Its Billing page says so. It sends you to the parent organisation in place of billing cards.

## How to use it

1. Open the organisation switcher in the sidebar.
2. Select New organisation.
3. Answer each question as Hermes asks it.
4. Select Create Organisation on the last step.

If Lucrii cannot create the organisation, the reason shows under Create Organisation.
