## What it does

Send a quote to your customer, then close it once they decide. A quote goes from draft to sent, then ends as won or lost.

| Action | Where | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Review Quote | The header of a draft | Opens the send window. Sending moves the quote to sent. |
| Mark as Won | The header of a sent quote | Raises a sales order from the quote and opens it. The order starts with the quote's team, assignee and watchers. |
| Mark as Lost | The header of a sent quote | Closes the quote as lost. |
| Resend Quote | More Actions on a sent quote | Opens the send window again. |

## Before you start

- Won and lost are both final. A quote in either state leaves the count of active quotes your plan limits, which [Creating an order](/docs/orders/create.md) sets out. You can then delete it.
- You can no longer edit a lost quote, as [Editing, duplicating, cancelling and deleting](/docs/orders/edit.md) says. The Edit button goes from the header.
- You can edit a won quote. The sales order raised from it is a separate order, and editing the quote does not change it.

## How to use it

1. Open the quote and select Review Quote.
2. Check the preview in the [send window](/docs/orders/documents.md), fill in the recipient and your message, and send it.
3. When the customer accepts, select Mark as Won. Lucrii opens the sales order it raises.
4. When the customer declines, select Mark as Lost.

On a narrow screen, Review Quote, Mark as Won and Mark as Lost are under More Actions.
