## What it does

Use a board's settings to rename the board or move it to another team. Edit in the board header opens the form from [Creating a work board](/docs/boards/work-boards-create.md), filled in. Change the Title, the Description, the Team or the default-board box there.

- More Actions beside Edit holds View Audit History, View Bulk Activity and Delete.
- View Audit History opens the board's dated list of changes in a new tab.
- Deleting a board takes its cards off the board. The tasks stay in your task list. Lucrii asks you to confirm first.
- The header shows who else has the page open, and their saves appear as they happen. [See who else is on a record](/docs/account/who-else-is-on-a-record.md) says more.
- Save keeps changes someone else made to other fields while you edited. Where you both changed one field, Lucrii asks which to keep. [See who else is on a record](/docs/account/who-else-is-on-a-record.md) says more.

## Before you start

- A team leader and above can change any board, and a team's manager can change that team's boards.
- An org-wide board belongs to no team, so only a team leader and above can change it.
- Only someone who can change the board sees Edit and Delete. Everyone else reads the board without dragging.
- If you move a board to a team you do not manage, you can no longer change it. A team leader or above still can.

## How to use it

1. Open the board and select Edit.
2. Change the Title, the Description or the Team.
3. Select Save.
4. To delete the board, select More Actions, then Delete, and confirm.

Save stays at the top of the page, and leaving with unsaved changes opens Discard Changes, as [Creating a contact](/docs/contacts/create.md) describes.

## Troubleshooting

The settings page says "Your team memberships could not be checked. Try again shortly." Lucrii could not read the teams you manage, so it cannot tell whether you may change this board. For the same reason, the board hides Edit and Delete and says so above the columns. A team leader and above still reaches the settings page.
